1. Find a Real Estate Agent

Having a real estate professional in your corner is key not only to determine fair market pricing but also to ensure that your home is getting in front of the right buyers. Not to mention that having a pro take care of all the paperwork is going to save you time - and headaches! There’s a lot that goes into selling a home, and making even a small mistake could be costly. I prepare a complete market analysis for every home I help sell in order to determine a strategic and fair price. Professional copy, photography, and video will generate traffic on your listing. That in conjunction with hosting open houses will inevitably lead to offers. Once an offer is accepted, there are still many steps left to handle in order to get to closing - luckily for you, I’m here to make that process as smooth as possible.

2. Declutter and Clean

Having your home in a presentable condition is vital to the home selling process! Decluttering any mess and maintaining curb appeal will go a long way in helping buyer’s envision their future in your home. This is a great way to get a jumpstart on your moving process and it’ll go a long way in marketing your home. Tending to your garden, maintaining your yard, and keeping your property clean are all great ways to increase your curb appeal, which will undoubtedly make your home stand out.

3. Be Flexible

Buyers tend to preview homes on nights and weekends. If you’re able to vacate your home during these times, you’ll get more traffic, which will in turn, lead to more offers! In addition to being flexible with allowing showings, it’s a good idea to allow for open houses. Hosting an open house is a great way to get a potential buyer’s attention as well as increase the likelihood of receiving an offer.
